In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top News and Magazines apps on the Android platform in Malta exhibited varied trends. Here's a closer look at how these applications fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning at approximately 160 and peaking at 239 in mid-October. A decline followed, with downloads reaching around 131 by the end of December.

X (Formerly Twitter) experienced a notable spike in weekly revenue, reaching $506 in late November, before settling to $88 by the end of December. Weekly downloads remained stable, averaging around 149 throughout the quarter.

Opera News: breaking & local showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 74 and dropping to 39 by the end of the year.

Way2News Daily News App initially had modest download numbers, but saw an increase from 48 in early October to a peak of 130 in early December, before decreasing slightly to 85 by the end of the quarter.
